The South St. Paul HRA’s mission is to revitalize and maintain the city’s housing, provide decent, safe and affordable housing opportunities for seniors, families, renters, and homeowners and promote economic development efforts in the business community. This is accomplished through the use of federal, state and local resources.

JOB OPENING: PUBLIC HOUSING MANAGER

The HRA is seeking candidates for the position of Housing Manager. This person is responsible for the management of the HRA's public housing program including operations and social services. The HRA owns and manages 298 units of public housing located in two highrise buildings.

Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's Degree in housing, public administration or related field and 3-5 years property management experience, preferably with a housing and community development agency. Certification as a public housing manager or ability to obtain within 18 months is required.

Salary range $45,000-$55,000 with an excellent benefit package including medical insurance (health and dental), retirement plan, flexible spending account.
